About non-degree studies

Whether you’re here for personal enrichment to develop your career, applying individually or as part of an employer-sponsored cohort, we welcome you to the classes, culture and campus of Fort Lewis College. Even though you aren’t enrolling with the immediate intention of earning a degree or certificate, you are considered to be officially enrolled, so your coursework will still be graded and posted to a transcript. Please note, federal financial aid is not an option as a non-degree-seeking student; however, you may be eligible for the Native American Tuition Waiver or other outside aid.??

A complete Fort Lewis College application includes:

After you are admitted

Following the submission of a complete application, and notification of admission as a non-degree student, you have a few important steps to take.

Confirmation email

Once you have been notified of admission, please confirm your enrollment by emailing the Admission office a written statement of intent:? name, date of birth, and confirm that you plan to attend FLC for the term applied.

Activate your FLC account

You must set up your FLC account before registering for classes. To activate your account:

  1. Go to , FLC's student web portal
  2. Click?Account Management and then Activate Your Account
  3. Enter your first name, last name, birth date, and student ID number or social security number
  4. Access your unique username and set your password
  5. Access your accounts
  6. Go to theFort and click?Sign In in the top right corner
  7. Enter your username and password

Register for classes using theFort student portal

Click WebMail ?to access your Fort Lewis College email?(which is yourusername10元提现现金棋牌@fortlewis.edu). Email is the official communication of Fort Lewis College, so be sure to check it regularly!

Click Courses? to access Canvas, our online learning platform which may be a part of your course.

If there are prerequisites for courses, eligibility must be documented prior to enrollment. Typically this is done through the presentation of transcripts. For some courses, standardized test score (ACT or SAT) or placement testing may be required.
